New Study Shows That Vitamin D Supplementation is Effective For Reducing and Preventing Pain

“Although any painful condition can lead to the chronification of pain, it is particularly common with surgical trauma, lower back pain, and osteoarthritis.”

“Compelling evidence has shown the potential of Vitamin D in exerting an influence on pain manifestation, thereby playing a role in the etiology and maintenance of chronic pain states and associated comorbidities.”

“Vitamin D plays an important role in pain mechanism development, with emerging evidence suggesting it influences pain perception, inflammation, and nerve function.”

“Observational studies indicate that Vit D Deficiency is associated with musculoskeletal pain, myalgia, chronic lower back pain, and chronic headache. Additionally, appropriate Vit D supplementation, particularly in patients with Vitamin D deficiency, can enhance pain relief in several chronic pain conditions.”

“In addition, Prieto-Alhambra et al. concluded that a target concentration of 40 ng/mL Vitamin D may prevent the development of aromatase-induced arthralgia, but higher loading doses are required to attain this level in women with a deficiency at baseline. It is worth noting that this threshold exceeds [by 200%!] the target of 20 ng/mL recommended by the 2010 Institute of Medicine (IOM) report.”

Sadly, many of the Vitamin D studies, and recommendations, are still based on outdated, inaccurate, dangerously low doses of Vitamin D that do not match the human-genome determined requirements. Any study that includes, or recommendation that includes, less than 1000 IUs (International Units) of Vitamin D per 40 lbs of body weight per day is invalid and ineffective.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Vitamin D deficiency is devastating to human health. It leads to chronic inflammation, chronic pain, chronic immune dysregulation, and plays a causal role in virtually every chronic illness including cancer, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, obesity, and dementia.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

In addition to addressing the physical cause of pain (which is often the lack of motion as a result of a spinal subluxation) it is important to ensure that you have sufficient intake of essential nutrients like Vitamin D.

D3-+-K2-Spray

1 spray = 1000 IUs Vitamin D (available here at Be Healthy Chiropractic Wellness Centre)

For ease of use, we recommend that you use our Vitamin D +K2 spray. Each spray =1000 IUs.

You need to supplement with at least 1000 IUs of Vitamin D IUs/day of Vitamin D per 20 kgs of body weight or part thereof. Here is a dosage guide for you:

21-40kg =2000 IUs/day

41-60kg = 3000 IUs/day

61-80 kg = 4000 IUs/day

81-100kg = 5000 IUs/day

For ease of use we recommend that you use our Vitamin D +K2 spray. Each spray =1000 IUs.

Please note that these dosages are based upon having no other underlying health issues. If you are dealing with an underlying health condition or have the flu then the recommendation is to double the dose of Vitamin D until you have overcome the health condition.
